CHARITY WALK
TO SCAFELL PIKE
SUNDAY 6TH SEPTEMBER 2015
The Charity Walk is in aid Of Ayub Hamdard Foundation to help
displaced people affected recently in the floods in Chitral Ghizer Gilgit Baltistan
Pakistan.
The Charity Walk is in the magnificent scenery of Wasdale in
the Lake District overlooked by some of Britain’s most rugged and challenging
mountains in the heart of stunningly natural surroundings with England’s
highest mountain Scafell Pike, deepest Lake of Wast Water and the smallest
church of St Olaf.
This spectacular event will take place on SUNDAY September 6th
2015 at 9:00 hours at Wasdale Head Inn. All participants will meet at Wasdale
Head Inn from 8:00 hours onwards for registration and pre walk talk. The walk
commences at 9:00 hours, participants need to arrive promptly. Walking boots
and lunch essential and registration required. Wear waterproof, windproof
clothing and sufficient food and drink for the duration of the walk.
The walk starts at Wasdale Head Inn following a challenging
route covering Sty Head, Sprinkling Tarn, Esk Hause, Broad Crag Scafell Pike
Hollow Stones before returning to Wasdale Head Inn. The duration of the walk
varies individually however it will take approximately 6 – 7 hours commencing at 9:00 hours and
finishing at 17: 00 hours.
Registration fee £10 per person
