I have witness here the devastation and destruction to the recent rains and flooding in Ghizer District, Gilgit-Baltistan and whole Pakistan. Asumber flooded stream bridge.Asumber Bridge over the Ishkomen river also been washed in flood.these people totally cut off from the main road.It takes couple of hrs for them to walk and to get the main road.specially for those kids who goes to school in Pakora and patients to go to hospital in Chatorkhand.

90% of Asumber people are belong to the Gujar tribes.Literacy rate is very low.These are most neglected people of the society.It is really importent to work on this trib to improve their education,their daily life and to empower their women.If i got support i am willingly to work on this people.

Note.Gujar tribes are most neglected peopel of the sociaty.These are the Gujar tribes of the Kochdeh flood victims,Their houses and land been partially demaged.I was having nothing much to gave them except caps,glows and scoks.no quilts and no jakets for the elders.

Dain Bridge which is in critical condition.So for government has done nothing to protect it yet from the future flood.other wise about 2000 people will be cut off from rest.If this Bridge washed,At that case people have to walk about 5 hrs to get the main road through Hatoon Bridge or Ishkomen bridge.As Asumber bridge been washed already in flood.

My recent visit to Yasin and Ishkomen flood victims from 13 to 17 December 2010.

My recent visit to Yasin and Ishkomen was very successful. I helped more then 60 families in different part of Yasin and Ishkomen. I took 60 warm Quilts, 350 jackets in different size for the families, as in my list the smallest family was 3 and largest was 17.I took 70 extra Jacket for men and women.15 dozen socks,8 dozen Gloves, and 6 dozen Caps.
People been so glade to have those stuff. In Darkot Yasin and Kochdeh Ishkomen still few families under the tents. Some people got offered houses from other villagers temporally for the winter. Shining light NJO has built huts for Darkot and Hundur flood victims.
Still urgently needed warm clothing and heating stuff wood etc. For long term it is needed to rebuild their houses, and for some families need piece of land first in safe place and then to built houses for them. It will take ages for Government of Pakistan to settle them. Because whole Pakistan been flooded in this summer.

My recent visit to Yasin&Ishkomen to select the most deserving families among the flood victims.

From 29th of Nov to 2nd of Dec 2010,i visited Darkot,Omulsat,Hundur,Sandi and Damlgun in Yasin Valley,Kochdeh,Birghal,Chatorkhand,Dain,Pakora and Asumber in Ishkomen valley.I selected 40 families from Yasin valley and 15 from Ishkomen valley.The details are here.23 families out of 55 in Darkot,because it is remote place of Yasin,One family in Omalsat out of 15, Five families in Hundur out of 35.Eight families in sandi out of 51.Three in Dammalgun.In Ishkomen,3 families from Pakora,6 families in Kochdeh,4 families in Dain,and 2 families in Asumber.

lots of fmilies still living under the tents,some are in the shelters which been provited by a local NJO named Shining light and some families are stying with their cousins home.Food been provided from Red Cresent and WFP.Urgently they need Warm clothing,balnkets,mattress, heating equipment etc

ABOUT AYUB HAMDARD FOUNDATION

AYUB HAMDARD FOUNDATION was established on March 16th 2015 to help displaced poverty stricken families and under privileged children in poor communities in isolated and remote areas as well as relief due to natural disasters.

Prior to this Ayub Khan was solely working voluntarily with displaced people in Jalozai camp Nowsehra and surrounding areas since 2009. In 2010 Ayub helped flood victims who had become vulnerable due to floods and landslides providing them with the basic necessities blankets and warm clothing to survive the winter and the harsh months ahead. He also donated a plot of land of one kanal for a flood stricken family in Asumbar.

Ayub Khan whilst trying to help the flood victims in 2011 seen the need for a school he approached agencies Juniper Trust assisted in constructing a one room school. He wants to highlight and support these children and their families to escape poverty by giving them access to education bringing them HOPE for a better future. He envisages education to motivate and empower communities to eradicate poverty and sufferings.

I am so glad to complete my first and most remote Shadri community School project with the help of Juniper Trust of UK.It is such a great feeling to complete this remote project.I am very thankful to JT to gave his best support to complete this remote project of Shadari School.I do hope JT will continue his support in future to do some other projects in the area as well,especially about Girls education and women empower,which are in pipeline.I am very thankful to Shadari Community of Asumbar and all those friends who gave me their possible support to complete my first project.Thanks

Help the Home less people of Ishkomen,Yasin and Punyal.

Due to the recent rain lots of families in Tehsil Ishkomen,Yasin and Punyal have been Homeless.Among those about 90% families are very poor,and they have lost their houses along their whole agriculture land with crops.They need to help in to purchase piece of land where they can buit shelters to safe their Childrens from the harsh dry cold winter,which is almost there.In emergency bases they need worm Jackets,Blankets,socks and montly bases food supplies.I am asking here from you all to help those suffered families.And i asure you,That your money will direct reach to the most deserving people of Yasin and Ishkomen Valley. My second visit to Victim of Ishkomen valley.

Recently I visited the flood affected areas in Ishkoman Gilgit-Baltistan, to gather detail information about the fact and figures. Regarding damage and need for basic necessities, as the winter is approaching. Most of the dislocated families living either in tents,temporary shelters or their own partially damage houses. Urgently need clothing, jackets quilts, blankets socks etc to comfort the devastating winter, along with food items or monthly financial support instead. This is the most urgent and minimum support to be delivered.
Apart from above financial support as required for people to rebuild their houses still exist.
